Italian Port Transfer FAQs
My parents are traveling with heavy cruise luggage. Will they need to lift bags or walk long distances?
Absolutely not. We offer a "zero-lifting" service. Your chauffeur takes your luggage at your designated pick-up location, and you won't touch it again until they hand it directly to the cruise porters at the ship's gangway.
I've heard Livorno and Genoa are huge industrial ports. Do you drop us at the main gate or the ship?
Standard taxis can only drop you at the security gates, forcing you onto crowded port shuttles. Dorogo holds official Port Authority permits, allowing our vehicles to bypass the shuttles and drive directly up to the ship.
Do we need to worry about the restricted traffic zones (ZTL) in Portofino?
No. Unlike public transport which stops in Santa Margherita Ligure, our vehicles have full ZTL permits to drop you directly at your Portofino hotel lobby or marina.
Our flight lands early, but our cruise doesn't depart until 5 PM. Can we stop on the way?
Yes! Because this is a private transfer, you have total control. Many of our clients request a 2-hour stop at the Serravalle Designer Outlet or a lunch stop in Liguria on the way to the coast.
