How the Venice Day Tour Works

Our private chauffeur service is designed to make the journey between Milan and Venice entirely seamless, giving you complete control over your day.

1

Morning Departure

Your chauffeur meets you at your Milan hotel. Drive directly to Venice, or request a stop in Verona or Lake Garda for a morning espresso by the water.

2

Arrival at Piazzale Roma

Venice is a pedestrian city. We drop you at Piazzale Roma where you can step directly onto a water taxi. Your chauffeur remains on call.

3

Relaxed Return to Milan

When you are ready to leave, your car will be waiting. Settle in for a quiet, comfortable drive back to your hotel in Milan.

Why Choose a Private Car over the Train?

Build a Custom Road Trip

Trains are strictly point-to-point. A private chauffeur allows you to stop for lunch by Juliet's Balcony in Verona, or stretch your legs at Sirmione Castle.

Leave on Your Own Schedule

You are free to leave Venice when you are ready. Enjoy a sunset dinner on the Grand Canal without worrying about making a strict departure time.

Uncompromised Comfort

A day trip to Venice is beautiful but active. Returning in the privacy of an air-suspended Mercedes S-Class ensures you arrive back in Milan refreshed.

Secure Luggage Storage

If you plan to bring purchases from Milan's fashion district, you can safely leave them locked in the trunk of the vehicle while you explore the islands.

"The best way to visit Venice from Milan. Being able to stop in Verona for lunch made the journey an experience in itself, and the driver was incredibly professional."

Venice Tour FAQs

Why shouldn't I just take the fast train from Milan to Venice?

If you simply want the fastest route, you should take the train. However, a private driver allows you to stop in Verona or Sirmione (Lake Garda) for lunch along the way. Most importantly, after walking 20,000 steps in Venice, a private car means you can recline your seat and sleep the entire way back to your Milan hotel, rather than navigating crowded train stations at night.

Can the car drive into Venice?

No, Venice is entirely pedestrian. Your chauffeur will drop you at Piazzale Roma (the bus and taxi terminal at the edge of the island). From there, we can assist you in booking a private water taxi to take you directly to St. Mark's Square via the Grand Canal.

Are there overtime fees for a long day?

A day trip to Venice is long (typically 12-14 hours). We provide a transparent flat rate for the entire day, so you don't have to worry about the meter running or unexpected overtime charges. Fuel, highway tolls, and parking are all included.

Can we do Venice and Lake Como in one day?

We strongly advise against this. They are in completely different directions from Milan. Doing both in one day means you would spend the entire day inside the car. Venice is a full-day commitment.
